Ulva Lactuca is a thin, leafy GREEN algae, ranging from light green to dark green in color, and commonly known as “Sea Lettuce”. Typically found attached to rocks, it grows abundantly on the west coast of North America and in the North Atlantic Ocean.

Loaded with essential amino acids, Ulva Lactuca contains up to 28% protein and is comprised of all 9 essential amino acids – including Lysine (an amino acid that is typically deficient in most vegetarians).
